Phase II: Folkstone Guitars

Folkstone Guitars is a repair shop in Tallahassee that has been operating for over 30 years that services and builds guitars for clients nationwide. Gary, the owner, has a contagious passion for the guitar that will make you want to become a better guitar player just talking to him. His love for music and the instrument just oozes out of him when discussing the work he does.

Brady is sponsored by Folkstone, and together we created this video to share a little bit about Brad's love of the guitar and his appreciation for the relationship he has with Folkstone Guitars.

I hope you enjoy it!

If you'd like to learn more about Folkstone Guitars, visit their website and Facebook page to get connected with them.

In the Summer, In the City... Hottest Post of the Year

Mostly because it's just plain hot outside.

HOLY MOLEY CANNOLI! Where has the time gone? I can hardly believe we are OVER halfway through 2015! As a matter of fact, this year has been going so fast, it left my Spring update in the dust, and my summer update (this one right here…) almost got left behind as well.

I hope you’re enjoying your summer. Fall (our version of it here in Florida) is around the corner, and without fail, it always seems to be one of the busiest times of the year. I hope you’re enjoying your summer and have been able to slow down a little before life picks up and gets really crazy.

Here are a few of the projects that I’ve gotten a chance to work on the last few months.

O-Trace

O-Trace is a rapper from Rochester, New York who wanted some photography work and a music video done for a song promoting a new EP he was releasing.

Engage Church

For Easter, Engage Church in Tallahassee, Florida wanted to create a warm environment for visitors and members to celebrate the resurrection of Christ for their Easter services. To help accomplish this, a Photo Booth was set up where you could take photos with friends and family before and after the service. They were also hosting a giant potluck type event after their services that included baptisms and a wedding! It was a long but amazing day.

Bill & Debra Brown

Bill & Debra Brown are music instructors in Valdosta, Georgia with over 25 years of full time music instruction experience. They were looking to have a modern looking personal website for marketing and for students to visit where they could also host student resources such as video and audio lessons. They also wanted assistance in setting up a YouTube page for sharing music lessons as a source of online marketing.

EthniKids

The EthniKids are a team of musicians, producers, and visual artists. They were in need of a modern website as the main hub of all their information online. One of my favorite things about the website was the page titles we came up with under Media in the navigation bar. Most musician sites include media that includes samples of photos, music, and videos. Instead of calling the pages those things though, we went with popular file extensions for the respective pages: jpg for photos; mp3 for audio files, and .mov for videos.

Check out these page titles at The EthniKids website: http://www.ethnikids.co/

I also did took photographs as a personal project with two of the producers.

Adrian and Wendy Crawford

the-crawfords

For their anniversary, Adrian and Wendy wanted to have portraits taken but for them be different than what you might expect. Despite being a hot, humid, and mosquito filled evening, we were able to put together a nice moody look at Dorothy B. Oven Park.

Hires 4 Hire

If you want great food, look no further than Kyle Hires. We took some photos of a meal he was preparing for a birthday dinner so he could use the images for promotion on Facebook.

It was hard not to drool while taking these photos… fortunately, I was able to sample some of the food, and if you’re looking for a caterer or chef for an upcoming event, I highly recommend Hires 4 Hire.

To get in contact with or learn more about Kyle Hires, visit the Hires 4 Hire Facebook page.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to my amazing wife! She puts up with quite a bit with two guys taking over the house, and (for the most part) does it with so much grace and poise. I love you babe!

Pascha at Engage

I had the privilege of documenting Easter at Engage Church this past Easter, here in Tallahassee, Florida. It was an incredibly busy, fun filled, exciting, and joyful day. With a photo booth for fun photos with friends and family, and then in the afternoon, an Easter party with great food, a DJ, a bounce house and egg hunt for children, baptisms, AND of all things, a wedding; It was an incredible day at Engage.

I am honored to have been given the opportunity to capture so many fun and beautiful moments with family and friends. Here are a few of my favorite moments from that day.

Happy New Year! Wait, what?

Hard to believe February is here already! We just started this new year! I hope your year has started exceedingly well. I just wanted to check in and share a few recent projects as we begin the new year.

The Greenslades

Diana and Matt had a mini photo session last fall. It was a very fun shoot and their son, Declan kept us all on our toes the entire time, which made for some great photo moments.  You can view a couple more photos of the Greenslades in Portraits section.

Antonio Williams

Antonio, a drummer and entrepreneur, known around the internet as RealistOnTheSet, was looking to get a website put together. In addition to a new website, we got some new photography for the website and created a logo for his website and social media profiles. View more photos from Antonio’s session in my portfolio and visit his website at http://www.realistontheset.com/.

High Beams

High Beams is an EDM duo with regular gigs in the region. They were looking for a logo that included a pig in it, in homage to Kevin Bacon, one of the member’s pet pig. Visit Facebook, check them out, and like their page.

DJ E Liz

Liz and I have worked together before on some promotional photography photos. You can view some of those photos under the portraits section of my portfolio, and her logo under the graphic design section. This time, DJ E Liz wanted a video reel to use for promotional purposes. With a mix she made specifically for this promo reel, we were able to put this together.

Personal Projects

Lastly, I’ve been trying out some new things for personal projects. I've never been one for self portraits, but it's something I've decided to try experimenting with to get certain looks and feels. Another thing that I've decided to start experimenting with is night time photography and cityscapes. The personal projects section of my website will be up and running soon, but for now, check these images out below.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this. If there’s anything I can do to be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Side-note: Valentine's Day is on the way. If you're interested in a small session as a gift for your significant other, contact me today and let's get a nice set of photographs together.

Thank you!
