I agree, John Turturro definitely took what was a pretty good flowing movie up until that point. Can't argue with that. I'm glad it became a little more toned down as it went on, but he didn't come super close to ruining an exciting action movie.

I understand the lack of love for M. Bay, but I thought Transformers 2 was entertaining enough. It looked especially nice on a digital screen on opening night.

Maybe he'll be able to make Transformers 2 a little better now that the first one was a hit, not that his budget was small for the first one, I'm sure.

I'm totally stoked about Transformers 2! I was able to tolerate Michael Bay for Transformers 1 but he almost lost me with John Turturro. Michael Bay has mastered the Actiomedy genre! One that cannot be an action movie without trying to be silly and funny and at the same time blowing everything up on the screen! He proves it here! Hahaha. The first shoot didn't he say they were gonna wreck a bike? Classic

I am going to give it a "eeeeeehhhhhh Maybe" I am not a big Michael Bay fan and I thought the first movie could have been a lot better.

I'm not excited about Transformers 2.

I wasn't.

But only because I didn't know about it.
