Music fans can’t miss this concert that is guaranteed to be like none other! Switchfoot returns to Wild Adventures on Saturday, August 25th with special guest Wilson Empire.
Switchfoot’s roots trace back to San Diego where the band met through their love of surfing and a shared passion for music. The name “Switchfoot†comes from a surfing term that is used when a surfer changes foot positions to take a new stance in the opposite direction. You can’t pin them down. Their music cannot be placed into a specific sound or genre. Instead of blending into the rock bands surrounding them, Switchfoot takes this different “stance†to music by writing songs that they truly believe in, no matter what other people think. With one double platinum and two gold selling albums under their belt, Switchfoot released Oh! Gravity, their highly anticipated sixth album. Come sing along to their smash hits including chart toppers “Dare You to Move†and “Meant to Live.â€
Atlanta based rock-band Wilson Empire is coming back to their roots to perform for Valdosta, the place they once called home. Since the release of their first full-length album Characters of Real Life, Wilson Empire has been touring almost non-stop, playing for audiences all across the Southeast.
The concert starts at 6:30 pm and is included in park admission if you choose to bring your lawn chairs to set up. Reserve seating directly in front of the stage is also available at an additional charge. Reserve seat cost does not include park admission which must be purchased separately.
