I hadn't heard about Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. The idea seems dumb, I mean, seriously, Superman Lui Kang or the Joker? Who do you really expect to win?
Anyway, the animation looks nice and you can check out the Joker's fatality move. It's joker-ish.

Versions of the Safari 4 Developer Preview for Leopard, Tiger, and Windows were also sent out to developers. The new Safari apparently came with a new Developer menu , redesigned Web Inspector, and JavaScript developer tools. The Developer Preview also includes elements from the new WebKit versions, such as support for new CSS features, as well as improved support for HTML 5 in general. Unlike the Leopard updates, we haven't heard about a release date for Safari 4, but it sounds like it will at least be arriving earlier than Snow Leopard.

Gears has been around in the form of a Firefox plug-in for some time now, but the search giant just posted a beta that brings this functionality to Safari.
