Yeah, I'm not a fan of the POD live. I tried it twice because of venue and rush necessities. I wouldn't do it ever again.

So jealous of the orange amps and voxes though. I've wanted an Orange and Vox for a quite a bit.

For some reason, I do like Line 6 even though generally I'm not a fan of multi effects pedals/boards. I think the fact that I could have the MM4/DL4 in one box with basically the filters, reverb, and distortion thrown in for free seemed like a good deal to me, so I bit. :)

I'll try and bring it tonight to practice.

Yea, I'm still a little torn. I love my rig but like I said it's large and heavy to say the least. Maybe for those who pursue a killer tone that's just the burden we were meant to bear?

I'll have to check the M13 out next time I'm at the local shop.

We used the POD up in nyc and it just sounded too digital for us. then again most of us were using orange amps or vox's or boutique setups. im interested in hearing this pedal sam.. even though im really not a big Line6 fan.

Yeah, real estate looks expensive on your board. :)

The MXR I have is ok. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't.

Suggest to your friend to swap out the speaker if he heasn't. Will sound even better.

It is the burden we were meant to carry. We should employ singers to assist us with loading in and out though. :)

Dang! Nice rig man. I have that pedal board and I love it, but man, is it heavy. I'm surprised how much stuff you can fit into that little space. Awesome.

up until today I had on my board a DL4, MM4, an Aphex Aural Exciter, and ad MXRIII Distortion, a blues driver and a Boss TU2. For me, that works pretty good. I sometimes use the amp distortion as well, but haven't been using it that much recently.

I have a peavey classic 30 with a Celestion GH12 speaker I swapped out (I believe that's the model.)

I haven't used the PODxt Live and I'm not going to give up my amp any time soon, despite how I heavy it can be to tote that stuff around. I know the band Anberlin uses PODxt Lives. They sounded fine to me, but I'm not too intersted in that.

I just figured it would be nice to consolidate my pedals and space with this new one and get a couple of extra pedals out of the deal. That and I'm interested in finding out where I can fit that growler filter effect. :)

Yea, it's been a work in progress and I think I've finally got it to a point where I'm happy for a while.

The DL4 is sweet but with my rig it was all about pedalboard 'realestate'. I LOVE the Diamond Delay but being an analog unit I needed an additional digital delay to pick up where it left off. DL4 wouldn't fit so I went with the Empress, which is very impressive as well. The more I play that delay the more I love it.

I have to check out some of the MXR pedals at some point. Like you I do use my amps channel 2 for some drive tones but find myself defaulting to either the Zvex or Xotic most of the time.

Friend of mine has one of the Peavey Classic series amps and it does sound great!

I KNOW! I've been saying that for years. :-) Even the lady singers, need to man-up and grab and amp or two!

I'm looking at getting an all-in-one board like this (again) at some point in the near future.

Our church worship band is going to be playing more venues in the near future and my monstrously heavy 2x12 Boogie and pedalboard is going to be a bear to lug. Not to mention that my amp won't fit in my car with the case.

How does the M13 compare to the POD XT Live?
