Clear Roads Heading Home

Well, Nat and I decided to head back home today (Saturday the 30th, 07) instead of yesterday so we could spend another day with her family and she could cook dinner for them.

We left this morning with a full stomach of breakfast tacos from Taco Cabana (awesome; best fast food taco bell butt kicker), and butt load of fireworks (Thank you Ray! Jesus, please don’t let the popos stop us) and a few other things that we didn’t come with (anyone looking to buy a bass amp?).

The roads thus far are wide open, which is what I love when travelling and per the GPS on my wonderful Blackberry 8830 we’ll be home about 10:37 pm tonight, in time to unload the essentials from the car and go to bed in time to get up early to play the drums at church tomorrow morning.

Things are looking good so far and Lord willing will continue to stay that way. I’ve had a great vacation break and caught up on some video gaming (I’m sans 360 since earlier this year (Call of Duty 4 is a MUST HAVE if you’ve got a 360).

Can’t wait to be home though. I have a feeling we may be able to beat that ETA with about 10 miles of speed over the speed limit (generally 70 MPH) and cruise control is certainly coming in handy (yes Juni, you can still be in control of the car with it on. Save on gas and speeding tickets).

I’m proud of the lovely lady below; although there was a lot of kicking and screaming, she did step up to the plate and managed to get the car rolling out of San Antonio and is currently driving us eastward bound.
