If you didn’t notice, that’s my face on that winning characters. This is a promotion for the new Street Fighter IV game. An update to the excellent Capcom series and king of fighter games. This is probably one of the best promos ever for a product. Head on over to My Fist in Your Face to try it out and then go to your local shop and pick up a copy of Street Fighter IV.

Taking a photo is an in-game feature for a game called Gears of War 2 which released on the xbox 360 and I have decided to take advantage of it.

I’ve tried to take photos from interesting angles and point of views. They seem a little dark, but I think that has to do with tv settings.

For kicks, I created a flickr group called Gears of War 2: in-game pics. If you’re a player out there, definitely check it out, join, and share some of your photos.

Tons of new features for the new Xbox experience just hit. Rip full games to the hard drive, access (and queue) marketplace on the web and come home to find them downloaded to your console, a completley new dashboard with all of the current dashboard’s functionality built-into the guide; along with Avatars and 16:10 support for wide screen monitors.

I sold my 360 a while back, but I am definitely looking forward to getting one when Gears of War 2 and any new Splinter Cell game comes out. With the updates and improvements Microsoft has been making to their console, it’s getting harder to imagine resisting that splurge once GoW2 releases. These updates sound pretty sweet.

It’s hard to see the first time around, but it looks like the guy was on hands and knees already, not sure why he needed to be tasered again? Also not sure why a lady with a coffee cup would need a gun or taser pointed at her face. I found these taser videos courtesy of pandagon. I don’t know, but is this tasering thing getting out of hand?

On December 4, Xbox 360 will receive the much anticipated fall update for the dashboard. Microsoft has slowly released information about the update — disclosing the addition of Xbox Originals to the marketplace, the controversial Friends of Friends feature and Family Timer functionality — but 1UP has gone hands-on with the update to uncover all its virtual secrets.

Let’s get the biggest news out of the way for the videophiles: Xbox 360 now supports MPEG-4, which means the box plays both DivX and XviD files without a hitch. 1UP tested almost every variation of the format possible, including high-definition content as high as 1080P. All the files ran flawlessly, though Microsoft told us there’s no guarantee all formats will be compatible — but we imagine most will.

I was one of those lucky crazy individuals that pre-ordered one back in the summer of 2005 and picked it up at a local EB in San Antonio, Texas (the one off of 1604 near Culebra by the Wal Mart shopping center. Nice group of guys) the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

I’ve had one for almost two years and have had absolutely no regrets with it; It’s was worth the price, and do not hesitate recommending it to anyone who’s looking into getting a ‘next gen’ gaming platform. You’ve only got two options really, PS3 and the 360. Really, the PS3 is a waste of money unless you happen to like reading the games you play and like incredibly uncomfortable and ugly controllers.

The main reason I’m giving it up is time. I spend a lot of evenings playing games like Gears of War online. It’s fun, and competitive (I’m a real competitive person, so I like to play against other folks online). I fell that maybe I’ve been spending too much time playing when I could/should be doing other productive things with my life. That’s not to say I won’t ever get the 360 again. I very well might after a while; there are a lot of great games coming out that I was looking forward to playing and may just have to catch up at some future time. Right now though, won’t be the time.

If you have an interest in gaming or have been looking for a 360, mine is up for sale.

IF you were considering Apple TV, you may want to look into an xbox 360 instead. Depending on which model xbox 360 you get, the cost is identical/within $100 and you get the added game and HDTV components. Compare for yourself (Apple | 360).

So, does anyone have any video podcast suggestions for me or know where I can download some good content to watch on the boob tube? (um, anything that doesn’t actually include boobs. Thanks!)
