Dear Tallaheezy folks, Saturday night at 7:00 pm, I’ll be playing some Sammy J (that’s me) original tunes for an event called Acoustic Ovation. The event will be held at 324 Glenview Drive here in Tallahassee. There’s a $5 fee (or ‘donation,’ as the organizer has called it) to get in.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s pretty face, and I promise I will do my best to remember all that words that are supposed to go with the chords I’m playing and put them in the right order.

*sigh* Yeah it does.

Funny thing is that I corrected the spelling previously, which was Febrez AND after that, Frebes. Copy and paste is lost on some people I guess.

Now, if I had to pick between all the wrong spellings, I think I could deal with Febrez a lot better than the other variations.

That being said, I'm just showing up with a guitar in hand and melodies and lyrics in mind (I hope), so I don't have anything to do with the organization. Aside from saying I'm down for playing, I don't have anything to do with the organization of the event, but I hope folks come out.

Nothing quite like the feeling of being embarrassed/nervous singing songs you've never sung in front of anyone but you're wife to give a nice little high in life.

Sam, you forgot to mention that it's the night before your birthday so they should come out at least for that.

And at least they didn't spell your name Forbes either. I've gotten that before. Don't know how they figured that at all though.
